As the Academy has become very popular over the years, the demand for places is high. Therefore each student must take part in a first workshop class. This enables the students to find out if they will enjoy the classes and allows us to see if they have a keen interest in studying drama. No experience is necessary to gain entry, but a willingness to learn is essential.
Individuals will not be asked to perform any solo work or speeches, everything is done as part of a group situation. Candidates are then informed in writing of their place in the Academy, their start date and time of class.
